Breeze Yoko’s year started in Zimbabwe before taking part in the Invisible Borders Trans – Continental road trip. Armed with his paint, the journey kicked off in Nigeria and ended in Bosnia October 2014.
Breeze Across Borders allowed him do some of these interventions in public spaces in more than nine African Countries and in Europe. Against all odds they crossed five borders confronted several challenges with immigration officers. During this tour they worked with several local artists in order to intervene in public spaces, exchange and to get an understanding of local cultures. The countries they have covered include, Nigeria, Benin, Togo, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Mali, Senegal, Mauritania, Western Sahara, Morocco, Spain, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Croatia.
